From Rural Roots to Academic Heights: A Journey of Education and Exploration

Born in a quaint village in Dharmapuri district, my journey began in rural India, where education guided me from Sigarapettai Higher Secondary School to Thandarai High Secondary School, sowing seeds of curiosity and ambition. -
Leaving my village, I pursued an M.Sc in Physics and an M.A in Public Administration at Pachiyappa’s College, Chennai, equipped with knowledge and a thirst for exploration on an unconventional path
Family: My Strongest Support System
My parents, R. Ramatheerthan, a retired headmaster, and R. Vasantha, an agriculturist, have always been my pillars of strength.
In 2006, I embarked on a new chapter of my life, entering into marriage with the remarkable Lakshmi Devi, a beacon of wisdom and a Ph.D. holder in Chemistry. Her affectionate nature and compassionate heart have been the guiding lights of our shared journey.
On April 6, 2010, our family welcomed its first angel, our daughter Reksitha, into the world. Her arrival filled our lives with immense joy and profound love. Two years later, on another blessed day, our son, Ram, graced us with his presence, bringing his unique talents and boundless energy.
As we navigate life’s twists and turns, our family remains the cornerstone of strength, love, and support, enriching each day with cherished moments and shared dreams.
MY JOURNEY
The Voyage From Vision To Victory
1994
Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit, I leapt into the business world, establishing my venture in garment manufacturing
1998
My endeavours expanded to encompass wholesale distribution, specialising in commodities ranging from turmeric to coconut, tamarind, cardamom, and pepper.
2000
My entrepreneurial journey took a new turn as I ventured into the aquaculture industry, and established a fish-growing business, with a focus on supplying high-quality fish to the markets of Tamil Nadu.
2003
Building on the success of my aquaculture venture, I diversified my portfolio with the establishment of B R and Co into the realms of agricultural products and steel industry products.
2016
Recognizing the burgeoning demand for coal in India’s industrial landscape, I seized the opportunity to venture into coal imports from Indonesia. industry products.
2019
The year marked another milestone in my entrepreneurial odyssey as I forayed into the logistics sector.
